I believe that social learning has a future, but as with anything in education, it should be moderated to some extent. I believe that the new trend toward embedded librarianship allows ILS professionals to weigh-in on the new technology and leverage ourselves to great mutual advantage. BTW, I came to Mixable through a post in _The Chronicle of Higher Education_ "New Social Software Tries to Make Studying Feel Like Facebook" by Marc Parry and Jeffrey R. Young, November 28, 2010. A very helpful read!
